Feel Good Inc.

In 2012 two cousins set out to do something unimaginable….Take Over the World! Well not exactly but pretty close, beyond all reason, Feel Good Inc. was born.  Feel Good Inc. is a homegrown, funky style with an edge of artsy flare.  At Feel Good Inc. we want to create happiness and remind you that life isn’t always about what comes next, it’s all about feeling good.

Take care of this moment. Feel Good.

Holler! My cousin and I have started something that we are pretty excited about! Our goal? To make the entire world Feel Good! What makes you Feel Good more than one of a kind, awesome, handmade jewelry, clothes, accessories and art? Nothing. That's what! We want to show you what we have so far, but we are working on a ton of products and will be posting pics soon, so you can see what has us Feeling Good!

Why wear a plain old t-shirt, when you can wear one of these! Completely customizeable! Styles to make you look and feel good!

5 strand braided headband made out of t-shirt material. Can be done to any width and multiple braids!

Fun, Funky, and affordable jewelry, that I guarantee you won't find anywhere else!

I don't know about you, but my pillow is one of my favorite things in the whole world. What could possibly make it better? Your name made out of pillows! Who wouldn't LOVE their name in pillows? No one. That's who.

Magic Camera

My very talented friend Hillary, at www.campbelldarkroom.com, allowed me to have some fun with her and her camera, this weekend. I might just take up acting! Here are the results:

Grandpa, Tell Me 'bout The Good Ol' Days

This is a side table I refinished, to put in the living room. I love the vintage look of two tier side tables and after searching for one that was affordable, I remembered I already had one in my garage. Even better was that my Grandpa had made the table by hand. It was nice to be able to bring something of such sentiment back into the house.

The Before Pictures:

I think he made this in the early 40's

The hardware after being polished

The After Pictures:

I'm so excited! I'm so excited!

I'm like Jessie Spano all hopped up on caffeine pills about this post! This is hands down my favorite project ever and the first room I've re-done, ceiling to floor! I decided to do my "whatever room" into a place where all the magic happens. I cannot tell you how much I love this room. I cannot walk into it and not feel happy. It's not 100% complete, but I just couldn't wait anymore!

So without further adieu, let me introduce you to my new art room.....

These are the before pictures:

Here are the after pictures:

Completely refinished the floor

"work station"

"Sewing station"
Drapes:
I sewed triple pleated drapes and hung them on a traverse rod
I have sheer curtains that I'm making to go behind the drapes, so you don't have to look at the dirty awning
New Closet:
I removed the closet doors to give the room more space
and used a $5 twin sheet as the curtain
I gutted the closet and put in a closet organizer I bought on Craigslist

New Cutting Table:

I made the table top out of one of the closet doors, glued some kind of board on it to make it smooth and ironed on melamine strips on the side.  Seriously, this damn cat was trying to get into every single picture!
It's about 7' long and fits perfectly into this little nook in the room.

I used two bookcases from Target as the legs and for
extra storage.
It's also a white board!
I put this handle on the side
to make a scissor station
I fixed my Grandma's yard stick onto the table
Other Fun Stuff:
The peg board I mounted above the cutting table. Those are all my Grandpa's pegs from his peg board in the garage. They were really old and rusty, so I spray painted them with oil brushed bronze. **Extra cool points if someone can tell me what the peg in the middle is for! It's the one that looks like a 4.**

My first flat screen EVER! Whoo!! It's smaller than my computer screen, but whatever I dig it. I painted a little border around it. It looks like crap.

Book....
Book Shelves
My Grandpas old suitcase &
my Grandma's old typewriter
My slutty dress form
My Grandma's old chair, my new chair!

Embroidery thread on clothespins

My favorite part of the whole room.....
THE ART!!!!!!!!!!

I love the progression of this piece (I did this with marker and watercolor).

There isn't anything negative about this space

I did not do this myself, but this piece is appropriately titled "Handsome Cat".
I always screw it up and call him "Mr. Handsome" (This guy is my favorite)

Just because I wanted to. (marker on canvas)

I painted this chandelier on the wall and even
though I said I didn't want any birds in this
room, I added a bird on the chandelier.

I found this clock at the thrift store and repainted with gold and oil rubbed bronze

A very fitting quote that I painted on the wall

I found this little dude at the thrift store. He was a Halloween stand and holding a string
that said "Boo". He was black and white, so I decided to give him a little color (acrylic), take his sign away, saw him in half and now that I'm looking, made him into a creepy, peeping tom owl. Oh well.

I found a use for my easel while I'm not using it!

I did this by creating a picture first. It is an Art Nouveau picture of a woman that
looks like it's stain glass (done in marker). Then I arranged the stickers on top of the drawing,
spray painted the paper with black spray paint and then pulled the stickers off and this
is what I got!

My homage to life, a genius and my yellow bird.

This is made out of felt, the bird is stuffed to give dimension, I did the writing with fabric paint and then
framed it in a shadow box.
